Polish glassmaker, Krosno SA (Krosnienskie Huty Szkla SA) has reported increases in profits and sales for the first three months of 1996, with respect to the first quarter of last year. Sales rose by 34% to Zl 44.80 million (Zl 33.46 million in 1995), net profit was up 12% to Zl 2.87 million (Zl 2.56 million) and the operating profit of the Polish company increased to Zl 4.98 million, 4.6% higher than the previous year.
