The economic environment for ISOLAR Glas operations in Austria has deteriorated significantly in recent years. Despite intensive efforts, the company was unable to adequately offset or pass on the considerably increased costs for energy, materials, personnel and services to the market. After carefully considering all options, ISOLAR regrets to announce that production at ISOLAR Isolierglaserzeugungs GmbH in Klagenfurt will cease at the end of the year. The company will be closed down in an orderly manner, for which the necessary financial resources have been provided by the owners.
ISOLAR extends sincere thanks to the colleagues in Austria who have contributed valuable work over many years. This decision was made with a heavy heart, but with the necessary sense of corporate responsibility, by the Group Management and Executive Board.
