The IGA’s Board of Directors has two new members: Matt Bailey and Michael Driggs. Bailey is now president of the IGA, while Driggs has been appointed as a board member.
The Independent Glass Association (IGA) has announced changes to its board of directors.
Matt Bailey board member and chief executive officer of 20/20 Auto Glass in Greenville, S.C., has been unanimously voted as president of the IGA. Michael Driggs of Cape Cod, Mass., Cape and Island Glass, has been appointed as a board member.
Bailey’s election takes over from Alan Epley, who sold Southern Glass and Plastic in November 2012 and subsequently retired. Driggs will take over from Jim Short, after the sale of his company, Klein-Dickert Co. Inc. also in November.
Bailey is a self-taught member of the auto glass repair and replacement (AGRR) industry with 12 years of experience, including ownership of an automotive glass retail business for the past eight years. He also contributed in the 2012 South Carolina AGRR legislation.
Driggs has more than 25 years of experience, working with companies such as U.S. Auto Glass, Windshields America and Speedy Glass. He is currently manager for the automotive glass unit of Cape and Island Glass.
