The Indian premium supplier PGP Glass has approached glass melting technology specialist HORN with a new furnace repair project at its Kosamba factory in Fort Mumbai, India.
This project in India includes the repair of the existing furnace in order to convert it into a 60 tonnes per day regenerative end fired furnace with four production lines for the production of flint cosmetics and perfumery bottles.
In addition, the furnace will be upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment supplied by HORN, further enhancing its efficiency, reliability and production performance. The in-house developed HORN E-Fusion Power Boosting System as well as proven HORN batch charging technology are also applied in this project to provide sustainable and high-quality technology in glass production.
