This year’s event will include the debut of Express Learning – free, 20-minute educational sessions on the show floor covering a wide range of industry-related topics. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the Window and Door Dealers Forum and Glazing Executives Forum, with demonstrations on the show floor.
GlassBuild has released an updated trade show app for 2014 with new features and capabilities. Available for iOS, Android, Blackberry, and mobile web, the app features an interactive exhibit hall map, complete show schedule, social media links, and much more.
In the app, users can view a complete listing of events taking place at GlassBuild America – including Express Learning sessions, the Glazing Executives Forum, the Dealers Forum, and demos – and add them to their personal schedule. From the interactive exhibit hall map, users can use the Locate Me function to find their location in the hall and then map a route to another booth. Links to GlassBuild America’s Twitter feed, photo stream, Road to GlassBuild blog, and more are all included in the app.
New this year, the GlassBuild America mobile app, developed by Core-Apps, Inc., is designed to include multiple event apps. Each year, a new app will be developed and automatically added to the GlassBuild America app on users’ devices. Users can keep past-year apps on their device and continue to review notes, events, and exhibitors from previous events.
