Vetropack had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Nihon Yamamura Glass, the largest container glass producer in Japan and a member of International Partners in Glass Research (IPGR), to its Italian plant in Boffalora sopra Ticino.
The delegation visited Europe between the Emhart Summit ’25 and the upcoming IPGR Executive Meeting, and chose Vetropack as one of their key stops to explore technological innovations in glass manufacturing with Vetropack’s CTO Guido Stebner and the general manager in Italy, Riccardo Gobbis.
During the visit there was:
- A guided tour of Vetropack’s newest, state-of-the-art plant.
- A closer look at the fully automated warehouse.
- A presentation of Vetropack and its innovation developments, like Rezon lightweight technology.
The guests’ conclusion: an impressive level of automation, efficiency and readiness to serve the Italian market with premium quality products.
