India“s DCW group is planning to debottleneck its soda ash facility at a cost of Rs 200 million, with a capacity increase of 15,000 tonnes/year to 100,000 tonnes/year. Minor improvements are to be made to DCW“s caustic soda facility. A 40,000 tonne/year increase in PVC capacity is also to be made by DCW at a cost of Rs 600 million, raising capacity to 100,000 tonnes/year. The project is due for completion within 18 months. Around 50% of the company“s revenue comes from PVC.
