In order to supply customers in America and Canada from stock held in the US, British Dartington Crystal has expanded its North America operation by opening a warehousing division. It means they will not have to wait for supplies from the factory warehouse in Torrington, North Devon, UK. The new warehouse is in the southern US state of Georgia. It follows the opening of Dartington“s successful New York showroom in 1994. Dartington“s export sales were 82% up in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period in 1995.
