The Crimean soda plant (Krasnoperekopsk, Crimea), the largest producer of soda ash in the Ukraine, finished 2007 with net profits of UAH 7.6 million, according to a release by the press service of the OstChem Ukraine (Kyiv) company. The plant increased its output in 2007 and widened its markets. The Crimean soda plant finished 2006 with net profits of UAH 7.658 million, having increased its net revenues by 12.51% or UAH 59.599 million to UAH 535.984 million compared to 2005.
