Corning Museum of Glass is holding a free MakerSpace for children and families during spring break, April 23-30.
Visitors can explore and learn about optics and glass concepts in conjunction with the special exhibition Revealing the Invisible: The History of Glass and the Microscope.
The MakerSpace will feature DIY simple and compound microscopes, 3-D printers, activities using mirrors and lenses, and more.
MakerSpace is generously supported by Disney, through a Creativity Garden grant, a nationwide project of the Association of Science-Technology Centers [ASTC].
