Recently, the British Glass team had the pleasure of visiting the Ardagh Group glass packaging production site in Doncaster, United Kingdom, the largest facility by output within the Ardagh Glass group.
The team were given a comprehensive tour of the entire production line, from raw materials through to finished glass packaging.
Glass packaging production is unique in that it is the only type of packaging wholly manufactured on a single site, from raw materials to finished product. The Ardagh Glass Doncaster site also has the capability to apply external decoration, enhancing the appearance of the packaging without compromising its recyclability.
Everyone left with greater knowledge of the glass production process and deeper insight into Ardagh Glass.
