Bedogni & C., producer of high quality melting furnaces for all types of glass and crystal has announced the creation of an insurance policy for coverage of its entire production range. The contract, underwritten by one of Italy“s prime insurance companies, covers any eventual design, installation or technical adjustment errors. The Italian firm underlines the fact that leading insurance firms rarely grant policies to manufacturers for their own errors in design and installation. Bedogni & C. has coverage for up to ItL 2 billion (US $1.2 million) for each single installation under the policy. For installations of a greater value, a special added formula has been studied to provide total coverage. Bedogni & C. said that it is dedicated to advancement in both design and construction alike, as well as to after sales service and insurance coverage for any possible risks linked to equipment activation and utilisation.
