The 20th edition of the International Building Exhibition, organised by the Blenheim Group, took place in Paris, France, from 6-11 November last year. The biennial show, dedicated to construction equipment and materials, including glass, was held in conjunction with “Interclima”, the international exhibition for heating, refrigeration and air conditioning. The exhibition area covered 335,000 sq. m. with 2,650 stands accommodating 3,918 companies, 1,700 of which were from the 42 foreign countries represented. 598,000 people visited Batimat “95, 11.7% of them foreign, coming from 132 countries. Obviously, the leading names in glass production were present: Saint-Gobain, PPG, Pilkington and Glaverbel. Companies involved in the glass processing business were represented by their French agents/representatives: Comartex; Covadis; CVA; Gik; Pacard. During our visit to the exhibition, we were able to list the following companies as being present, either directly or through their representatives: – Antonio Piazza; – Baudin; – Bottero; – Castelmec; – For.El; – GTM; – Ianua/Finind Group; – Intermac; – Janbac; – Lattuada; – Lisec; – Mole Moreschi; – Optima; – Otematic; – Profilglass; – Schiatti; – Tecnometal; – Tremco; – Truilzi; – Zafferani Glass.
