BA Glass issued the following statement following storm Kristin:
The recent storm Kristin has severely affected the Marinha Grande region in Portugal, where one of BA Glass’s production units is located.
In these challenging circumstances, we would sincerely thank our employees for their dedication, resilience and strong sense of responsibility. Even in difficult circumstances, their commitment has been truly remarkable.
Our priority has been, and will continue to be, the well-being of our people and their families. In response, BA Glass has been providing practical support on the ground to our employees, including access to drinking water, meals, hygiene facilities and essential services, while working closely with local partners to respond to immediate needs.
We will continue to act with responsibility and care, alongside our people and the Marinha Grande community.
