At Vitrum, Guandong transforms glass into a medium for design and identity

In the world of visual communication, glass is no longer just a boundary but a surface full of potential, ready to be enhanced, interpreted and turned into an expressive tool. At Vitrum 2025, Fiera Milano Rho, September 16 to 19, Guandong, a leading manufacturer of digital printing media, will showcase its latest solutions for contemporary glass decoration.

At the Guandong booth (Hall 9, Stand L10), visitors will discover a curated range of printable films and foils that elevate glass into a visual and tactile experience. Lace effects, embossed textures, embroidery-like finishes and high-resolution art reproductions reimagine decorative glass as a canvas for both design and communication. These effects are made possible by the synergy between Guandong’s advanced materials and modern digital printing, enabling architects, interior designers and visual professionals to transform glass into a distinctive element of space. Decorative applications become a way to express identity, emotion and narrative—not just aesthetic touches.

Among the innovations on show is an enhanced version of one of Guandong’s best-known solutions: One Way Vision (OWV). Designed to “communicate with the world without losing sight of it,” OWV allows messages to be displayed on glass façades while preserving interior light and visibility. The new 50/50 perforation pattern has been refined, and a 70 percent variant offers a greater printable area without compromising transparency, ideal for retail, corporate and architectural applications.

“Our materials are developed with both impact and performance in mind,” said Fabio Elmi, Guandong’s R&D Director. “They are durable, easy to apply and remove, and suitable for both short-term and permanent installations. Whether it’s store-fronts, office partitions or high-end interior spaces, we provide reliable tools for creative professionals.”

At Vitrum 2025, Guandong invites industry professionals to explore a new way of working with glass—no longer a passive medium, but an active surface for storytelling and design.
