Appointment within the Saint-Gobain Group

Claire Garnier is appointed Chief Communications Officer of the Saint-Gobain Group, effective September 1, 2025. She reports to Benoit Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and joins the Group’s Executive Committee.

She succeeds Laurence Pernot, who is retiring and will leave the Group after a transition period.

Claire began her career at Total, then moved to Air France within the Group’s internal communications department. In 2010, she became Head of Internal Communications at Tarkett Group, a global leader in flooring and sports surface solutions, before being appointed Deputy Director of Communications in 2015.

In 2017, she joined Imerys, the world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, as Director of Corporate Communications. At the end of 2018, she became Group Communications Director, supporting Imerys’ transformation and the development of strategic projects in France and at international level.

Claire Garnier holds a Master’s degree in Literature and a Master’s in Corporate and Institutional Communications from the Universities of Paris X and Paris XIII.
