15 years ago, when AL began its project to produce toughened glass accessories, the aim was to present the alternative to brass, stainless steel and zamak hardware that would facilitate the installation of the glassmaker and present a better cost/benefit ratio. As founder, Mr. Max Del Olmo, was aware of the versatility and application of the polymer, based on the radical change that the polymer brought to civil construction. The production of the first polymer hardware in Brazil began in 2004/2005. After 15 years of hard work and technological development, AL Indústria has been maintaining the leadership in the Brazilian and South American markets in the manufacture of hardened glass hardware for about 10 years, with almost 20 million pieces produced annually.
Meanwhile, AL, in response to the request of its distributors, acquired a modern 6-inch extruder, starting the production of aluminium profiles for the installation of doors, windows and screens, consolidating its position as the largest glass tempering accessories company of Brazil (South America).
AL Indústria employs approximately 370 direct and 120 indirect employees, occupying the total covered area of approximately 15,000 m² on 3 plants.
