The 22nd conference of the ASEAN Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM) will be held from 22-25 October this year at Shangri-La“s EDSA Plaza Hotel in Madaluyong City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. This year, the event is being hosted by the Glass Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GMAPI) and marks the AFGM“s 20th year of activity. At the 21st conference held in Indonesia last year, more than 300 delegates attended the conference, which provides a forum for ASEAN glass producers to meet to exchange information on technological advances, and to review strategies. The conference theme for 1997 is “AFGM at 20: Towards the Challenge of the 21st Century”.
