Luxguard, owned by US-based Guardian Ind., is investing LFr 400 million in its glass production works in the town of Dudelange in 1996, according to Luxembourg“s economics minister, Robert Goebbels. In a statement, Mr. Goebbels said the money would be for a new installation producing safety glass. By the end of 1996 Luxguard will have invested nearly LFr 15 billion in the Grand Duchy over the past 14 years. It has six plants in Luxembourg employing 1,200.
