UK company Penelectro Ltd. has announced that, due to continued expansion, it has moved to new offices in Hadleigh, Essex, England. Since the rebirth of the company in 1994 under the chairmanship of Malcolm C. Reynolds, the company has been increasing its activity of designing, constructing and commissioning electric furnaces with over 95% of the projects being undertaken overseas in Europe, Africa, the Middle and Far East. Projects carried out have included furnaces for a wide range of different glasses and furnace outputs from 5 tonnes/day to 150 tonnes/day. Other major projects have included rebuilds of furnaces for crystal, soda lime and borosilicate glasses with outputs ranging from 5 tonnes/day to 75 tonnes/day. Penelectro also supplies molybdenum and tin oxide electrodes, water-cooled electrode holders and connections, electric forehearths, electric boosting systems, power and control systems, batch chargers, glass level controllers, thermocouples, and a wide range of consumable items for furnaces and forehearths.
