Republic Glass Holdings Corp., based in The Philippines, has reported a first quarter income of Pso 81.59 million in 1996, 46.92% better than the previous year“s Pso 55.53 million. The firm credited the income hike to the improved performance of 51%- owned subsidiary Republic Asahi Glass Corp., which the company said is “riding the crest of the wave of escalating residential and commercial building structure.”
