Preliminary results for Polish glass maker Krosnienskie Huty Szkla Krosno SA issued recently reported an October increase in net profits (from PZl 0.80 million previously to PZl 0.93 million) and sales (up to PZl 16.01 million from a previous level of PZl 14.14 million). Third-quarter figures showed a fall in net profits from 1995“s PZl 1.74 million to a 1996 total of PZl 0.90 million. Net sales rose, however, from PZl 39.99 million to PZl 43.82 million.
