Further to our last report on Sweden“s Orrefors Kosta Boda, the consortium recently set up to buy the Swedish glassware company said on 27 December that it had raised its stake to 99.1%. The consortium, Orrefors Kosta Boda Holding AB (OKB), is owned by Scandinavian Equity Partners (SEP), Swedish investment company Proventus AB and Danish luxury goods maker Royal Copenhagen A/S. OKB had extended its takeover offer of SKr 155 a share until 20 December 20 to complete the purchase of the prestigious glass company. Orrefors Kosta Boda ceased trading on the Stockholm stock exchange on 30 December 30.
