Philippino company Mabuhay Vinyl Corp (MVC) has been awarded a 42 million peso contract by a unit of San Miguel Corp to supply liquid caustic soda for use in bottle washing, a Mabuhay Vinyl official said. MVC“s vice president Mario Alba told reporters on 7 January that under the contract, MVC will supply the San Miguel Brewing Group with 3,000 tonnes of liquid caustic soda this year.
