The Swedish industrial gases producer, Aga, is involved in setting up a joint venture plant in France with Air Products and Praxair. The new plant will be situated near Lyon and should be operational by early 1998. Aga also runs an industrial gases plant in collaboration with Air Liquide. Aga installations in France include four oxygen, nitrogen and argon plants, four acetylene plants, two hydrogen plants, 16 bottle refill depots and 32 agencies. The industrial gases market in France is headed by Air Liquide with its 70% market share. Aga has 10% market share in France with turnover of FFr 840 million.
