16 April 1998: Danish luxury tableware maker Royal Scandinavia, formerly known as Royal Copenhagen, reportedly said that the Swedish packaging group, PLM, had exercised an option to acquire the rest of its Holmegaard Emballage A/S unit. PLM had acquired 25% of Holmegaard, a packaging company, in February last year and had an option for all remaining shares, Royal Scandinavia said in a statement. It said it would book a DKr 345 million gain on the disposal.
