To further strengthen control over the total output of China“s soda ash industry and raise economic returns, the State Economic and Trade Commission has issued the Notice on the Implementation of control over production output of the soda ash industry. According to a recent report, prices of the soda ash have been falling because of supply exceeding demand. The whole industry is suffering losses, it said, and it is expected that the output for this year will reach 7.6 million tons.
