Workers at Australian packaging giant Amcor escalated industrial action on 3 July by picketing the company“s headquarters. Workers have been picketing the company“s Brooklyn site since a worker lost his lower leg two weeks ago. But they moved their protest to the Camberwell headquarters at 7am on 3 July. Amcor workers“ spokesman Geoff Marchiori said: “Workers will not tolerate having their safety compromised.”
