DuPont Photomasks Inc., a manufacturer of glass plates used for imprinting circuit patterns on silicon chips, reported its seventh consecutive quarterly loss on 22 April 2004, but revenue went up as chipmakers increased spending on equipment and materials. The Round Rock, Texas-based company said its fiscal 3Q loss was USD 10.6 million, or USD 0.58 a share, compared with a year-earlier loss of USD 25.9 million, or USD 1.43 a share.
