Kmmerling Chemische Fabrik GmbH will increase prices for adhesives and sealants in Europe and Asia by between 5% and 8%, effective latest 1 January 2005 or as contract terms allow. The company says the price rise comes in response to dramatic increases in the costs of raw materials, packaging and energy, leading to unsatisfactory margins. Based in Pirmasens, Germany, Kmmerling Chemische Fabrik is a leading manufacturer of polysulfide, polyurethane and polyisobutylene sealants for the insulating glass and automotive industries.
