Consol Ltd., the South African container glass maker, said 20 March 2007 that all conditions for its takeover by Newshelf 809 (Pty) Ltd. have been fulfilled. South Africa“s Competition Tribunal approved the transaction on 15 March 2007 and an Order of Court sanctioning the scheme was entered by the Registrar of Companies on 19 March 2007.
