Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd., the ultimate holding entity of NSG Group, plans to dissolve a UK subsidiary. Sovereign Glass (Leeds) Limited was acquired as a part of the acquisition of Heywood Williams companies, a UK-based building glass distributor, by Pilkington on 1 April 1993. Registered in St. Helens, north-west England, Sovereign Glass (Leeds) Ltd. has been dormant since the time of the takeover and has no employees. The dissolution of the subsidiary will be completed within the current fiscal year ending March 2008 on condition that a clearance by the local registry office is obtained. Its dissolution has no effect on the Nippon Sheet Glass Co. consolidated and non-consolidated results.
