Scheuten Solar, based in Venlo, the Netherlands, has introduced a portrait-mounted roof-integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) system, which it states enables better mounting to roof form factors than landscape (horizontal) mounting. The new PV system incorporates Scheuten Solar“s Multisol Integra Vitro modules, which use a glass-to-glass laminate featuring f l solarfloat HT glass. Scheuten states that the strength and stiffness of the f l solarfloat glass allows for the ability to be mounted vertically and replace roof tiles in part or completely. The company also states that these modules offer strong wind and snow load resistance. Multisol Vitro and Integra Vitro modules feature a 30-year power output warranty and 12-year product warranty.
