The Canadian Glass Association (CGA) Board of Directors has named Rich Porayko, glass marketing specialist, interim executive director until a permanent executive director can be successfully recruited.
Porayko’s career in marketing began 20 years ago, with over ten years in the commercial glass industry. He has been a contributing freelance writer for Glass Canada for the last six years and writes a column in Fenestration Review magazine. Porayko has also been heavily active in a variety of marketing, membership and event roles with the former Glazing Contractors Association of British Columbia.
“As a glass person, I’m eager and excited to help the CGA navigate the management shift and begin to reunite the commercial glazing industry across Canada,” said Porayko. “Due to personal and professional commitments, I’m am unable to be considered for the permanent position, so as interim ED, part of my role includes recruiting my successor. The CGA board has high standards and are looking for the right fit for the long term.”
