Glass Service will be present at Glasstec 2026, held in Düsseldorf from October 20 to 23, visitors can meet its team in Hall 13, Stand E13, and see the company’s latest technologies and solutions. The latest innovations of 2026 confirm Glass Service’s commitment on process performance, production efficiency, quality and reliability.
Motorised Venturi mixer
In industrial glass production, process stability is essential to ensure consistent combustion performance and uniform thermal conditions. When operating conditions require higher precision and automated control, the standard Glass Service Venturi mixer can be integrated with, or upgraded to, an Electronic Air/Gas Regulation System.
Thanks to a real-time adjustment mechanism, the motorised Venturi mixer maintains a constant air/gas combustion ratio in all operating conditions. It can be effectively used also to regulate glass cooling, increasing the air flow when specific thermal conditioning adjustments are required.
Radar Glass Level machine
Glass Service’s new Radar Glass Level machine features an ultra-compact antenna that seamlessly integrates into existing working ends or forehearths. This high-performance system offers a wide measurement range from 300 to 5,000 millimetres, combined with extreme precision up to 0.05 millimetres. Thanks to its high-speed 100 hertz sampling rate, it delivers fast, real-time data for precise furnace control. Furthermore, its compact, top-mounted structure effectively eliminates errors caused by thermal expansion, ensuring maximum reliability in harsh environments.

Electric forehearth
As the glass industry accelerates its transition toward decarbonisation and high energy efficiency, standard air-gas heating systems suffer severe operational limitations. Glass Service’s patented Refractory-Embedded Electric Forehearth represents a technological breakthrough, converting electrical energy directly into thermal energy with exceptional controllability while completely eliminating direct combustion emissions.
Heating elements fully embedded within the refractory superstructure is the innovative solution designed by Glass Service bearing complete isolation and zero contamination since there’s no risk of falling material into the glass melt, and electrical safety.
Stirrer mechanism type X-Y
It confirms to be one of the best-seller products of Glass Service. The purpose of the Stirring Mechanisms is to homogenise the glass in the forehearth, removing cat scratches and cords— unwanted, unsightly and harmful defects.
The X-Y model is characterised by a very limited installation space and any maintenance operation, both on paddles or motor, is easy and safe, performed away from the hottest area of the forehearth. The movements on both axis are driven by electric motors and gearbox.
