Lumeso: Live demonstration at Glasstec

Lumeso will be demonstrating how order processing in the flat glass industry can be largely automated using its AI-based software at glasstec, from 20 to 23 October in Düsseldorf.

In Hall 11, Stand E24, the company will be presenting its solution through live demonstrations. It relieves the in-house sales team of the burden of manual data entry, reduces transcription errors and gets orders into production more quickly. Of particular interest to the international audience at glasstec: the AI processes orders regardless of the language used. This means it can also be deployed in internationally oriented sales structures.

Whilst production at glass manufacturers and processors is already largely automated today, order entry often still begins with manual data entry. Staff transfer dimensions, quantities, glass configurations, coatings or finishing processes from emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, scans and drawings into the ERP system.

Lumeso automates this step. The AI software reads and interprets the incoming documents, extracts the relevant information and cross-checks it against the company’s item and product data. The fully processed order is submitted to the administrator for review and, once approved, is transferred to the connected ERP system.

This reduces the manual effort involved in order entry, whilst also minimising data entry errors and enabling orders to be confirmed more quickly. As a result, staff have more time for customer service and other skilled tasks, whilst production capacity is utilised more efficiently.

At glasstec, Georg Katzlinger-Söllradl, CEO and co-founder of Lumeso, and his team will be demonstrating the software in action, “We are particularly looking forward to engaging with international visitors at glasstec. Do come and see us; we’ll show you that it works.”
