During the recent Belgian economic mission to Turkiye, Ciner Glass had the honour of welcoming Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, Piet Demunter, CEO of Flanders Investment & Trade and other high-level officials to the Ciner Group headquarters in Istanbul.

Hosted by Didem Ciner, Chair of Ciner Glass, and Gokhan Şen, Ciner Glass CEO, the visit highlighted the strategic importance of the company’s EUR 600 million investment in Lommel, Belgium, and its future role in sustainable glass packaging in Europe.
The visit enabled valuable exchanges with political leaders, diplomats and business representatives, strengthening relationships and reinforcing support for Ciner Glass.
As the largest new industrial investor in Belgium, Ciner Glass is now positioned to take a more active role within industry federations and consultation platforms, ensuring its voice contributes to shaping the future of the sector.
With the opening of its Lommel facility approaching, Ciner Glass is poised to make a significant contribution to the economy in Flanders and strengthen its role in developing a more sustainable European glass industry.
