Beatson Clark is proud to share that its amber glass now contains 60 percent Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content, and its white flint glass now contains 42 percent PCR. That brings the overall average to 50 percent PCR across all Beatson Clark containers, a 10 percent increase since 2021.
Beatson Clark is committed to using the highest quality recycled content in its glass packaging. In fact, Beatson Clark is the only UK glass manufacturer with its own on-site glass recycling plant.
Every year, Beatson Clark processes around 44,000 tonnes of waste glass recovered from kerbside collections, bottle banks and the hospitality trade. This glass is then processed and melted in furnaces to make brand new bottles and jars.
