GIMAV and Messe Düsseldorf: partnership in support of the European glass industry

GIMAV announced the strengthening of its partnership with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Italian representative Honegger at the next edition of Glasstec, the world’s leading trade fair for glass industry technologies.

The collaboration is based on a shared vision, aimed at maintaining and further consolidating the trade fair as an international platform of industrial excellence, capable of promoting dialogue between the main international players in the sector and strengthening the role of associations as structured, reliable interlocutors focused on developing long-term relationships.

GIMAV will have a dedicated space, “Casa GIMAV”, which will serve as the association’s institutional headquarters, but also as a meeting point for its members.

Casa GIMAV and beyond: the pillars of a new synergy
Casa GIMAV will be designed as a place for networking, dialogue and qualified networking, available to member companies and a point of reference for the Italian glass industry within the event.

As further confirmation of the attention given to the business network represented by GIMAV, Messe Düsseldorf will also provide 50 free visitor vouchers for each member company exhibiting at Glasstec, thus encouraging broad participation.

At the same time, GIMAV and Messe Düsseldorf will develop a joint communication strategy aimed at promoting Glasstec, its content and its central role in the international glass technology scene, strengthening its appeal to companies, stakeholders and potential new exhibitors

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to Messe Düsseldorf, Daniel Feische and Armando Honegger for the quality of the discussions and the constructive approach that made this collaboration possible,” said Lucia Masutti, Director of GIMAV. “Casa GIMAV is a concrete sign of mutual trust and an investment in the value of cooperation between associations and trade fair organisers. Italy and Germany express industrial expertise of absolute excellence: strengthening dialogue between them means contributing to the development of an increasingly competitive, innovative and quality-oriented European industry.”

“It is a great pleasure for me to give visibility to GIMAV and its member companies present at Glasstec, the world’s leading trade fair in the sector, offering them a prominent stage in Düsseldorf. For many years, Italy has been one of Glasstec’s most important markets: the presence of Italian companies and the quality of their know-how are a fundamental component. I am therefore very pleased to be able to deepen our collaboration and to welcome back numerous Italian exhibitors and visitors from the sector to Düsseldorf in 2026,” said Daniel Feische, Director of Glasstec.

This collaboration confirms GIMAV’s role as a platform for representing and promoting the Italian glass industry, capable of operating in a structured international context, generating opportunities for its member companies and making the association an increasingly attractive partner for new companies interested in joining a qualified network based on content, relationships and strategic vision.
