As Stoelzle Glass Group prepares to restart its Stoelzle Flaconnage plant in Knottingley, United Kingdom, this December, Forglass is close to completing the delivery of the facility’s cullet handling, batch transport and control systems for the entire batch plant with cullet return automation system, a crucial component of the accelerated rebuild following the July 2025 fire.
The Forglass team has been engaged in the immediate reconstruction of critical infrastructure. Thanks to the in-house manufacturing, standardised solutions, and experienced engineering team, Forglass was able within just 3 months to design, manufacture, install and commission the entire cullet handling and batch transport systems.

The new systems are engineered for reliability, precision and high efficiency ensuring a stable, high-performance restart at the Knottingley facility.
