HORN has successfully carried out the reconstruction of a regenerative end fired furnace at PGP Glass’ Kosamba factory in India.
The 60 tonnes per day furnace with four production lines is designed for the production of flint cosmetics and perfumery bottles. HORN repaired the furnace at site within the specified time frame. The furnace produced its first glass on July 16, 2025, and is now fully operational.
Supervision of the installation, heat-up and commissioning was managed by HORN experts and its subsidiary HORN India.
