In March 2025, Sebastian Dick, Manager A+W Clarity Innovations, introduced AI Mira and A+W first AI-based product, A+W Order Entry AI, during a webinar. Since then, much has happened, and A+W Software is now ahead of the originally planned development milestones. With the official market launch of A+W Order Entry AI in December 2025, EDI functions will be available.
What are the benefits? Not every member of a team has programming skills, can define exchange rules, or read, understand and modify file formats like JSON. That’s where the great advantage of AI applications based on Large Language Models (LLM), like Mira, comes into play. These AIs can engage in dialogue as you may know from ChatGPT. The AI can interpret user input and execute instructions. This makes the AI a bridge between human ideas and technical implementation. Now, A+W Software is enabling direct communication with Mira in the A+W Cloud to help you and your team.
At the time of the webinar, Mira’s learning process was limited to the approval workflow. Mira captures orders and has them approved by a staff member. If an error is noticed and corrected, she learns from it in the background and improves next time. In the cloud, you can specifically check what Mira has understood. This includes both the results of text recognition from the customer order format and the results of automated mapping to your own articles, including a confidence rating (i.e., the level of trust in the answer’s correctness).
The new highlight: Direct interaction with Mira in the chat. Here, extended opportunities for communication with Mira are available. For example, you can implement exchange rules for email addresses.

This way, individual filters for every customer can be defined—with no programming knowledge needed, because Mira brings those capabilities herself.
