2016 Glass Magazine Award winners announced

The National Glass Association’s official publication Glass Magazine has announced the winners of its 2016 Glass Magazine Awards.

The prestigious glass and metal industry awards program recognizes the best products and glass applications the commercial, retail and fabrication markets have to offer.
“There were very creative solutions offered in all categories,” says Glass Magazine Award Judge John R. Stephenson, senior architect, BRPH Atlanta, brph.com. “Many of the entrants have produced remarkable projects and should be congratulated for both the creative design, implementation and fortitude.”
“It’s always amazing to see the new products that are addressing code updates, labor challenges and architectural trends. Architects want to use glass, it’s up to us to have the answers and be up to the challenges,” says Glass Magazine Award Judge Mandy Marxen, vice president of marketing, Gardner Glass Products, gardnerglass.com.
To determine the winners in the product and project categories, Glass Magazine submitted nominations to a panel of judges representing all segments of the glass and glazing industry. The judges then selected a winner in each category, as featured in the July 12 edition of e-glass weekly, the July 2016 issue of Glass Magazine and on GlassMagazine.com.
Special thanks go to Glass Magazine Award sponsor GGI, generalglass.com, for producing the Glass Magazine Award plaques, and to C.R. Laurence Co., crlaurence.com, for supplying the hardware.
