The Event

SOUTH AFRICA GLASS is
a proven business event that allows
international operators to meet local professionals from
South Africa and neighboring countries. In the Congress Center
of the Hilton Sandton Hotel, in addition to a large exhibition
area, during the two days of the event, will also host a series of
conferences and meetings on the most current topics of the South
Africa market and the developments of the glass industry in general.

Africa glassworks, to give an idea of the general importance that they
cover on the African continent:
s Consol Glass has five plants in South Africa, producing a range of
glass packaging for the food and beverage industries such as beer,
wine, fruit juice, soft drinks, mineral water and spirits markets.
s PFG a division of the PG Group is the leading manufacturer of
float glass in Southern Africa, as well as laminated glass, mirrors,
and sealant products. The company, located near Johannesburg,
produces 260,000 tons of high quality float glass a year.
s Nampak Glass produces a diverse range of returnable and non-
returnable glass bottles for the wine, carbonated soft drinks, spirits,
beer and pro-cessed foods markets. The glass operation is based in
Roodekop Gauteng
s 4HE CORE OF McCoy’s business is to supply building glass, including clear
float glass, patterned glass, tinted glass, mirrors, laminated safety glass and
toughened glass. The company is a leader in the stock sheet market.
