Technically, orange is the colour with a dominant wavelength between 595 and 630nm. Unlike many colours, the more intense the
orange colour, the brighter it shines.
Since 1985, entering a factory and seeing an orange glass cutting line has been unequivocally related to the TUROMAS brand.
TUROMAS was founded and grew in close collaboration with its customers, developing its own ideas and technology and generating
invaluable experience in five continents to offer what are probably the best solutions on the market today. That orange machine at the start
of the production line represents much more than an advanced work tool: it is something that defines and distinguishes your company.
The market is evolving, demands are changing and companies are
facing the urgent need to offer their customers near real-time production.
Reliability, performance and flexibility of machines and production pro-
cesses become paramount. The concept of Industry 4.0 appears, the use
of the information generated by the machines at different levels for the
optimization and taking of productive and strategic decisions.
Thanks to collaboration with the industry, TUROMAS started a specific
R&D program to detect and face the new needs and production trends
that were about to come. The mechanical engineering, electronics, pro-
gramming and systems development teams decided to start by redefining
the smart glass storage and loading range in depth. Working well was
not the goal, that is already presupposed of any TUROMAS machine.
The aim was to give the machines unrivalled working capacity, superior
performance and outstanding reliability.
To this end, each and every one of the parts of the different machines
have been rethought, recycling what has been proven with experience that
was already an optimal solution and applying new and innovative devel-
opments in those places where there was some room for improvements,
from a new brain that applies logics based on the various variables to
large muscles that ensure performance in the most demanding conditions.
The result has been a whole new range of smart storage solutions with
unmatched working efficiency in the industry. Sturdy, robust machines
that, in combination with the cutting range, can offer an optimum solution
for each and every need, from the most advanced and fastest automatic
line in the world to the most compact and flexible stand-alone machine
on the market.
