COMPANY DATA Moulds is really no different from
many Italian companies, and is ba-
CONTACTS sed on long-term and family tradi-
Busellato tions. Busellato Glass Moulds is a
synonym of innovation and techno-
WALTER BUSELLATO logy. Founded in 1976, the company
General Manager has always had experienced and well
trained staff in terms of mould manu-

BARBARA CUSAN able to comply with the most deman-
Sales Manager ding customers’ needs. It first began
as a mould repair and maintenance
barbara@busellatoglassmoulds.com workshop, and then, in the 1990s, it
started with automatic metallization, being the first mould manufacturer to weld bronze auto-
RANGE OF matically. Busellato Glass Moulds is able to produce moulds of any shape and size – ranging
PRODUCTS from the smallest to the most complex containers all with the most complex decoration and

Product quality is guaranteed by main basic factors: optimization of the production pro-
cesses, clean and tidy production halls, dimensional check of random samples during all
production steps and sight and dimensional check before the packaging. With the research
for more enhanced metallization processes and characteristics in mind, detailed studies were
conducted regarding the metallization techniques and materials used for glass-contact surfa-
ces in moulds.
This has enabled Busellato Glass Moulds to develop specific know-how in this area, allowing
it to detect and correct defects, even in post-production phases. All products manufactured by
Busellato Glass Moulds can be welded with excellent materials using different techniques such
as Plasma, TIG and HVOF (High Velocity Oxy Fuel). Thanks to these methods it is possible to
strengthen and protect some specific areas such as the contact edges of the different elements
or the whole surfaces “touching the glass”. The moulds are in cast iron, bronze and in steel.
One particular development that the company is proud of is the “Busellato Innovative
coating”. This coating, created for NNPB and P&B processes, already has a solid track
record of good and robust results.
The innovative coating was created
to grant basic advantages in mould
utilization. Thanks to the results of
the study, ideal parameters for HVOF
(High Velocity Oxy Fuel) technology
have been defined, with considerable
advantages both in terms of finishing
and durability of the moulds, such as:
