Serbian glass processing company Zvezda had a net profit of CSD 320,000 (USD 5,488/EUR 4,020) in the 1H 2007, the company reported in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) on 6 September 2007. No comparative figures for the same period 2006 were available as this is the first time the company has filed an official half-year report. Zvezda“s net profit in 2006 jumped to CSD 1.232 million from CSD 283,000 a year earlier. The company has a workforce of 150 and is active in thermo insulation glass processing, as well as processing of glass and mirrors for furniture, automobiles, household appliances, agricultural machinery and railway rolling stock.
