A building permit has reportedly been issued to rehab part of the Zeledyne Glass Products plant in West Nashville. The plant, once operated by Ford, is subject to a sale announced in January between Zeledyne and Japan-based Central Glass Co. Ltd. According to Davidson County property records, the sale – which was to also include Zeledyne“s Carlite warehouse in Lebanon – has not yet been finalized. The USD 1.5 million building permit was issued to the Devon Industrial Group, which is to conduct rehab work on 250,000 sq.ft. inside the plant.
