The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, based in Thessaloniki, extended a EUR 20 million (USD 25.5 million) six-year credit to Athens-based glassware maker Yioula Glassworks, it was reported on 10 February 2004. Yioula will use the funds to increase its range of products and strengthen its position in the local and foreign markets. Yioula Glassworks exports its glassware to 80 countries worldwide. The company has glass plants in Bulgaria and Moldova.
