Greek, Athens-quoted glassware importer Yalco signed a private contract on 11 June 2002, withdrawing its interest in the acquisition of a majority stake in furniture maker Laskaridis and selling its 17% stake in Laskaridis“ capital, Yalco said on 14 June 2002. In the framework of the previous private contract, signed in early February 2002, Yalco bought a 17% stake in Laskaridis. The previous private contract also provided Yalco with the option to pay a total of EUR 455,000 in cash in a Laskaridis“ capital increase operation, in order to obtain another 50% stake in the company.
